I have my January 2019 calendar today. Normally I will post my calendars earlier in the prior month, but as I took off most of December, that didn’t happen for the January calendar. But I did at least get it posted before January (by one day, ha)!
During my time off, I went in search of a calendar template for 2019. There are lots of free templates online, but I decided to go with a 5″x7″ calendar purchased from Taylored Expressions. I like the bigger size, crisp clear font and the ease – I didn’t have to download, print, cut, etc.
I used the First Frost bundle from the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. While the bundle discount is retiring, the stamps and dies are carrying over through at least May 2019. I think this is such a pretty bundle, but I largely ignored it while making holiday cards. I tried one card using it at my monthly Card Club in November, but my stampers weren’t very interested it. They wanted more traditional holiday cards. So I set it aside. But I am breaking it out again and decided to use it for my January calendar.
I used the pretty silver gray paper in the Frosted Florals Specialty Designer Series Paper. This DSP is so pretty and the last day to buy it is January 2nd, 2019.
I chose Blueberry Bushel and Marina Mist (retired) for the flowers. You can use Balmy Blue instead of Marina Mist, I just wasn’t happy with how it looked with Blueberry Bushel. But that’s just me, I struggle with coordinating blues.
I really like the sentiment; it is from the December 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit.
I did preorder some products from the new 2019 Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration Brochure. And I have been playing with them during my break. So much fun! You will see most of these over the next few weeks.
Thanks for stopping by!
