Hey Love, Treat Box, Valentine

January 2019 Pals Blog Hop – Stinkin’ Sweet

Welcome to the Pals monthly blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here! January is all about making “Art from the Heart,” featuring projects for Valentines Day, Thinking of You, Get Well, or Sympathy. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Today’s project is a valentine treat box I made using the Hey Love stamp set from the new 2019 Occasions Catalog:

As I look at these photos, I can see how much fun I was having with all these elements. And I was having a ton of fun! I couldn’t stop with the cuteness.

I stamped the cute little stinker on Shimmery White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is my favorite card stock for coloring with the Stampin’ Blends. The large heart was cut from the All My Love Designer Series Paper using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. And I used the same set of framelits to cut the small heart out of Balmy Blue card stock. I added Wink of Stella for lots of sparkle. And as a final touch, I added the Balmy Blue organdy ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. So pretty and so easy to tie!

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 13, 2019 when our Hoppin’ Pals share their “It’s Time to Sale-A-Brate” projects. Don’t miss the fun!

  1. I have both of the stamp sets you used on your box, and I am so bad about thinking to put, what seems like the obvious (now that I have seen it!), together. I am so happy I came across your blog today!

  2. Linda, how adorable is this project!!! I love it 🙂 You have even convinced me that I need this stamp set. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Hi Linda,
This box is so cute! I was wondering how far you are from Sunnyvale, CA? My daughter lives there and I may be coming to CA (from Wisconsin) sometime in Spring to help her with a garage sale before she moves. If you’re not too far away, I’d love to come and take a class from you. You mentioned northern California but I’m not sure how far north that is.

    1. Hi Veronica! Thanks! I am not too far from Sunnyvale, I’m a little further north, in Pleasant Hill. If you come, definitely send me a message and maybe we can work out meeting.

  4. I love this treat! The little guy is so adorable and you made him look perfect for any age! Awesome project.
